    Funny Lady....not funny at all!

    I"m an old Streisand fan. I guess a lot of the Streisand facade has withered for me since I can see her movie and really critique it without the Streisand worship getting in the way. The movie lacked the script/dialogue that Funny Girl had. In this one, she's angry (isn't she really angry now...seen an interview lately?) and wiry headed Billy Rose takes the rap..he gives it back to her, she pines for her Nicky Arnstein but realizes its over for her and finds its too late with Billy Rose. The wigs were awful, the set design a mess, cheap, bad costuming for her, good for everyone else, music all sounded the same...in short, a big disappointment. Stick to Funny Girl...it was a winner!

    My favorite singer/actress EVER Barbra Streisand!

    I already own two DVD’s of Funny Girl which I love! But FUNNY LADY was always very hard to find to purchase. Well now I have it! I have already watched it 3 times!! I just love it. I laugh out loud at James Cann and Barbra Streisand together in this movie both have very sharp wit! Great funny movie beautiful songs and Bob Mackie Costumes WOW!

    I Loved This Movie

    In my humble opinion, the music in Funny Lady trumps Funny Girl. Just listen to the song "If I Love Again"--gorgeous. I love the corny dialogue, I love the goofy over-the-top musical scenes. I loved it all. I'm a huge Steisand fan, but if I have to listen to "Don't Rain on My Parade" one more time...listen instead to "Let's Hear it For Me." And some of the Billy Rose tunes can't be beat.

    Good movie!

    I like this movie, it's the sequal to one of my all time favorite films, starring Barbara Streisand "Funny Girl." It's got a cute story line and great music(duh, hello it's Barbara.) I don't think it's as epic as "Funny Girl," but it's a descent movie. If you like music, and old movies, true love and heartbreak it's a perfect movie for you to watch.
