    VERY TOUCHING MOVIE

    Before you get comfortable, make sure the tissues are handy as this GREAT MOVIE will have you reaching for them. There are a couple of scenes that bothered me because of animal abuse issues, but Steven Spielberg assured everyone that there was no reason for concern and no animals were harmed in the filming. The loud music in the beginning was distracting, but after it stopped, it was enjoyable.

    It was okay. A bit long winded. Not Spielberg's best work but entertaining

    It was okay. It doesn't pack the same punch that most horse movies do. They could have chopped about 30 minutes out of this film, and I don't think it would have hurt the story one bit. It reminded me of the French film "A Very Long Engagement" replacing the lovers with a boy and his horse. A few teary moments for me, over all entertaining, but not stellar. Also it didn't have a film quality to it... like it was shot on digital. Does anyone know? Dialect cross over. Everyone in the film whether they were British, French or German, all have the same British accent. It was confusing. Anyway. Sure it's not perfect film making, but it's entertainment none the less.     great title. lets you know what it's about

    lovely movie. doesn't concentrate too much on the horrors of war, but doesn't downplay it either. well acted and directed

    Awesome, action packed!

    We saw the War Horse when it came out at the theaters and enjoyed it so much wanted to purchase to have at home. If you love horses like we do you will love this movie. You will laugh, cry and at times be on the edge of your seat!

    Seeing the light aftr the darkness

    I saw this movie when it first came out & loved it. It is a powerful story: sad at times but very heartwarming. A lot of action but well presented. I will watch it again & again.
