    "Brutal Truth"

    This film was mind blowing and disturbing! Cant believe people (HUMANS) were actually treated worse than farm animals. Used as sex slaves, labor slaves, placed in killing games, experiments, and tortured ! Its a very sad truth.

    Classic must-see ‘race’ film

    Dated? Yes. Offensive? Check. Cheesy? All the way! But do you need to watch it? Absolutely. It is an important film of its time and genre; and to appreciate the niche, this belongs in any serious exploitation collection.

    Controversial, but Bold!

    Addio Zio Tom has to be Jacopetti and Prosperi's most controversial works in their career! But it's also bold! Though slavery is a tragic chapter of African-American history, these filmmakers had the guts to create this documentary to show two sides of African-Americans and Whites never shown before. I hjave some of Jacopetti and Prosperi's films in my collection, so I purchased this to add to my collection. Although some dialouge was in English, the rest was in Italian and I picked this version it is a romantic language. The word Negro was predominantly used, even in the subtitles, but that's fine. This film is a tad controversial, yet very bold indeed.
