This is a great seller. I've placed orders of 12, 9 and 6 vhs tapes and they've all been very well packed and the deliveries prompt. They emailed me once to tell me that they wouldn't be sending me a certain tape because, in their testing, they found that, even though it played well, it jammed when they tried to fast-forward and rewind...and they had tested it on more than one player. Funny old movie about two old men who just got out of prison after serving 30 years for train robbery. Harry Doyle (Burt Lancaster) and Archie Long (Kirk Douglas) have been life-long best friends, partners, and for the last thirty years, cell mates! in 1955 they robbed the "Gold Coast Flyer", last of the famous luxury steam trains that ran from San Diego to Seattle. It was the last train to ever be robbed, and Harry and Archie robbed it, and got caught. The cop who caught them was Deke Yblanski, and this too was his "fifteen minutes in the sun". Now they're out, and Yblanski, a sergeant, in a dead-end job almost ready to retire is trying to prod them into anything so he can bust them again for the fame. Both try to make it work, but after the constant frustration of being treated as if they were useless, decide to return to what they know best, crime! Also stalking them is an old hit man, Leon B. Little. He is also about 75. He took a contract on them thirty years ago and has been waiting all of this time to shoot them. He wears glasses about one inch thick, and still can't hardly see. He drives an Edsel, carries a Winchester shotgun and is tracking them down. The general theme is that everything they do is what crooks would have done in 1950, but it is now 1988. Everybody thinks that these old guys must really be young men in disguise as oldsters, because they move with such agility. Well, nothing works. They steal an armored car, but only get a roll of quarters. They try to put the old gang back together for a bank heist, but find that all of the guys have gotten old and are either cripple or crazy! Now at the end of their rope, they decide to rob "The Gold Coast Flyer" - AGAIN! It is being run one last time as a commemoration of an era gone bye. They successfully steal the train, with the help of Ritchie, their P.O. trying to keep them from getting killed, with Yblanski and the L.A. police force chasing, and Leon B. Little close behind. The hilarious conclusion has the Flyer making a run a to Mexico, with everybody close behind. This is a funny movie with some very choice one-liners.

There is alot of catching up to do, but the hightech revolutional lifestyle takes a tough time to get used to, A contract killer (Eli Wallach)is behind them. To make things worse theres a stubborn old school cop (Charles Durning) waiting for them to slip up. Things heat up and thats when these to icons show the bold new tech world just who they really are! The two boldest hardcore players in their line of the business. They trully give tough guys a new and explosive meaning. great movie
great movie!burt lancaster and kirk douglas sure pulled it off.after 30 years in the pin for robbing the train they finally get out and try to live a new life being good.but they can't do that because that is not what they do best! love it you got to see it if tou can find it. Too bad two great acters had to die. love to see them make another movie.

A Great,Entertaining film from two of the greatest actors ever,Douglas and Lancaster. Has also an allstar cast with Eli Wallack and Charles Durning. A superb performance from everyone in the film. Movies with action & comedy like this one just are NOT made anymore.......For Every movie fan this is a MUST HAVE! Has something for everyone........
