    good vise for the price

    Seems to be a good quality vise for the price. I've only just gotten to mount it to my mini milling machine table so far. Anything bigger, would be way too large (I have the gas shock head support that allows for higher head/table distances). Actually, a 2-1/2 or 2-in would probably be just fine...except the rotating vise base is a great help in setting up angled operations work holding with a vise.

    Best milling vice for the price!

    Shipping was quick. And after a tear down a little finishing here and there and reassemble with quality lube it's top notch! Like a lot of import tools they need a little massaging but after that you have a pretty comparable tool for a great price. Well worth it to me!

    Not too bad.

    The one I received holds very well with minimal push up when clamping down. The ways are within a .001" of each other and parallel. There are some fill spots in the casting, but they don't seem to affect the vise in any way. Bottom line, there are better ones out there, but not at this price.

    Excellent quality for the price.

    This vise seems to be well made and for the $$ I haven't found better. I use it for instrument repair and the jaws are smooth and easily straighten keys or hold them to be rebored.
