In Dora the Explorer: Journey to the Purple Planet, friendly aliens Plinky, Inky, Dinky, and Al have landed on Earth and they need your help. Their spaceship is broken and only Dora and Boots the monkey can get them back to the Purple Planet. Children aged three to six will play as Dora and navigate the group through six levels featuring such landmarks as Yellow Bubble Cave, Starry Sea, and Moonbeam Mountain. Help Dora evade meteors and search for keys that unlock the space tunnel needed to get Plinky and his buddies home. Along the way, Dora will acquire items such as jet packs and space gems while watching out for the item-stealing Swiper the fox.

I bought this game for my 3 yr old daughter who loves dora and always wants to play daddy's games with him. I thought this would be great, and it is pretty good overall. the graphics could be better, but overall I am pleased. She is still getting used to working the controller, but i think with some practice this will be an easy game for her to play. I like the fact that dora cant die, allowing her to play without being game over in 2 seconds flat like most games... definately reccomend for little ones!I bought this game for my 3 yr old daughter who loves dora and always wants to play daddy's games with him. Easy Fun
This game is great for young Dora fans. Your child will help Dora go through the paths needed to move to the next level. It is easy to play. This game isn't as slow as some other EC rated games such as Elmo. There is some educational points in this game. I allow my child to play this as a reward - she loves it. She doesn't love it as much as the games she can't play (her brothers games) but loves it much more than no game =) Since there isn't many EC games out there - if you seen a game on the EC level - I recommend this!This game is great for young Dora fans. I bought this game because my five year old has trouble playing alot of the rated everyone games. He plays this one all the time now, even my 7 yr old enjoys playing it. They have both beat the game once and are now working towards beating it again. This game is a must for anyone with small kids that want to play video games. Dora does not "die" and you don't "fall" to the point that you have to restart. If Dora gets on the side of a cliff that she shouldn't fall off, the game just won't let her go, you have to turn around and go the other way.I bought this game because my five year old has trouble playing alot of the rated everyone games. Excellent game for preschoolers!!!
I bought this for my 4 year old. Her older brother was always playing games and they were just too hard for her. Since this one was rated EC I thought I would give it a try. WOW did she love it. Is was easy enough for her to use the controls, but a little challenge in it too to keep her wanting more. She got so excited when she would reach a new level.
