Buy this inexpensive solar watch and stop paying for batteries.
This solar watch gains about 2 minutes a year. But for the price, less than $30, it's a great value for anyone who doesn't like to periodically spend time and money changing the battery. I would have preferred a bracelet style wrist band. But for the price, it's hard to beat. It has many features, such as travel mode time adjustment and easy DST adjustment. To me, it looks as stylish as a $150 watch. Why pay more and have to buy a battery every year? And each time you change a watch battery, you have to go through the whole process of resetting the time and date. With this watch, you just set it and forget it. Your cellphone can give you the time and date. But you first have to turn it on. You can't just glance at your wrist. This solar watch gains about 2 minutes a year. Unfortunately, for those of us who want a watch to tell time, it exhibits a typical Casio failure to display the current time in stopwatch mode, The alarms are inaudible to anyone except perhaps Casio engineers. Stealth and Durability
I really like this watch. Have a lot of military friends that have seen it and thought it was a much more expensive watch. Have a crystal guard top protectect the plastic crystal from scratching and cannot even tell it is atop the crystal. My only complainet is that the band sometimes makes my wrist itch.I mainly wear all stainless watches and wanted a change.

Best solar watch you can buy!
I need this watch to remind me to take my medication. I was going to simply replace the battery on my old watch of this type. It was more cost effective to get a new one. The technology has advanced in the ten years I had the watch. This watch has five alarms and at times I have used all of them. This watch has never let me down!

Excellent Watch
I am very satisfied with this watch even if it is cheap. It has everything that i need and i am very impressed with the solar function. The alarms are loud enough to wake me in the morning and the back light is okay. Can't say much about how waterproof the watch is because i didn't had the chance to go swimming with it. I can say it does well under the shower and bad tub.
