About this product

Product Information

Love were formed in the 1960s by the enigmatic Arthur Lee, producing several classic albums, before the band collapsed amid drug problems, shootings, arrests, and deaths amongst the members. Band leader Arthur Lee survived a stint in prison, only to emerge even stronger, and more determined than ever to share his psychedelic visions with the world. Reforming the band with a host of new characters, Lee revisited many classic songs that he hadn't played for years. This live concert showcases the band performing the seminal "Forever Changes" album live in concert, at London's Royal Festival Hall.

  • Love - The 2003 Forever Changes Concert on DVD

I first saw this band in 1968 at the Aquarius Theatre in Hollywood. After a no show(Arthur Lee) the first night, they more than made up for it 2 days later by playing for 2 1/2+ hours for the 200-250 faithful who returned. I never forgot it! I bought the DVD to see and hear if their music still had the magic. Even with many different members in the band, the music still had the power and passion. It was brought to life by Lees intense vocals now some 35 years later. An excellent visual and musical experience that shouldn't be missed. A great DVD that also includes a booklet filled with pictures and information. A must buy for all those who experienced, or wanted to, the 1960s!
