Product Information

In Contact, players are given the task of collecting cells for the Professor's crashed spaceship, but the story doesn't end there. This RPG for Nintendo DS includes mini-games such as go-kart racing, and a dungeon-crawler that is similar to Gauntlet. Gamers will guide Terry through collecting cells, animal training, fishing, wooing the local ladies, and gardening. At certain times during the game Terry and the Professor will "contact" players directly for help. Terry must also keep the cells from the hands of monsters by defeating them in combat, using special abilities and "Decal" attacks.

Fun game, lacks interesting game play
Fun game that doesn't take it's self too seriously. The graphics are great for the system. Only downside the combat is incredibly simple and very boring quickly. Finding new outfits grants you new abilities. Still a fun game though.

This RPG tries to be easy enough to play for the beginner and yet still have enough layers to satisfy the the more avid RPG fans. As usually happens when something tries to the "best of both worlds" it ends up being niether good one way nor the other. It definitely has some cool and unique features, like the seperation between the professors 8-bit world and Terry's watercolor world. Another neat feature is the use of costume to give Terry special abilities. The cooking feature to obtain HP, at first seemed unique, but ultimately grew old quickly. Some would complain about the battle mechanics being to simple. I personally didn't mind the simplicity. Some depth was added to it by the sheer number of statistics Terry can accumulate. There is supposedly a lot of cultural references in this game, but I appearantly missed a great deal of them. So, they are probably only for the most avid of fans. Overall, the Metacritic score of 73 probably is the best gauge of this game. It has it's moments, but probably not enough to let you really enjoy it.

Amazing
Great game and it got here just when you said it would i recommend this game to all. it is a really fun rpg and is always full of surprises, its easy enough for new players but it has difficult parts in the game for more hardcore gamers
