About this product

Product Information

Lt. Jimmy Patterson battles through dangerous first-person missions across enemy territory in Medal of Honor: Frontline, the series' first release for the PlayStation 2. Amidst the confusion that followed the Operation Market-Garden offensive (September 1944), the hero must infiltrate the German frontline to steal the HO-IX -- an experimental Nazi weapon that could turn the tide of the war. The game's campaign is made up of five main missions of rescue, infiltration, and sabotage, each consisting of at least three levels of action.

As in other games in the Medal of Honor series, developers have gone to notable lengths to make the various elements of this release as authentic as possible. Missions are all based on actual events and the wide selection of weapons is appropriate to the setting. The game strives to create a World War II-era ambiance and was designed with the assistance of the Smithsonian's HO-IX expert Russ Lee. Capt. Dale Dye returns as technical consultant and developers worked with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society to help ensure that this game "reflects the ideals and integrity" suggested by its title.

Item exactly how described, came early, and packaged greatly! Buying a game from this seller is the next best thing to buying it with the case, as you can use the packaging as a sleeve to keep it in.

    A classic but....

I bought this game online as I had traded my copy many years ago. Everything is fine, but the game is very slow when loading. I checked the disc itself and there appear to be no scratches. I know it is not my console that is doing that, as my console has worked well for many years. The disc is just not in the best condition.

  • Love the game play, controls leave a little to b desire

I love this form of game play, it just not a war movie where you are running around with hundreds of different people shooting at you and so much going on on the screen you cant keep up with it all. This game actually takes stratagy and tactics to win. You must find places to hide and snipe from, you must pick the best weapon for the job, you must maintian a supply of ammo, all in all an awesome game. The only thing that I would change is having to use the sticks on the analog controller to move and aim with, I would much rather use the thumb pad to do this, would be much easier i think, especially when it comes to aiming. With the sticks, the slightest movement and your aim moves way off, its hard to adjust your aim using the sticks.

  • Medal of Honor: Frontline (PlayStation 2)

This 1-player game may be a few years old, but the game play and graphics are excellent. First you storm the beaches at Normandy, saving a few guys along the way, then it's off to help bring down the Nazi's. From bunkers to buildings, it's war '40's style, using weapons like the M1 Garand and the Thompson Sub-machine gun. My kids even like it. I recommend this game, especially if you get it as cheap as I did! Awesome! Go Allies! Hitler must die! Get your Medal of Honor on the front line.

  • Medal of Honor -Frontline-

The Game of all games in my book! Bought it in 2002 when it 1st hit the shelves, took me a day or two, to get the controlls down. Was instantally hooked. Years down the road, lost my copy of it!!! Had to turn to GOOD 'OL eBay! Found a MINT/Complete copy with a "BUY IT NOW" option for $1.99!! Still to this day, love playing it!.. My favorite quote on the game is at the begining, when your storming the beach and you have to save 4 soldiers, and 1 of them says to you.. "GIVE ME SOME COVERFIRE!!! and I'll get the HELL outta here!!!"... Still cracks me up to this day! BEST WAR GAME that I've ever played or care to play. --MEDAL OF HONOR/FRONTLINE/2002--
