    Comforting, familiar, and old fashioned.

    I already knew most of these songs because I got a couple of their record albums at a garage sale several years ago. Even though I'm 44, I love this old music and I'm so happy to be able to listen to it in the car now on my cd player. I like the contrast between Nelson Eddy's deep voice and Jeanette MacDonald's high pitched, operatic voice. It's just so soothing and comforting to listen to cause it's so old fashioned, and I've always liked old fashioned things.

    Nelson Eddy was an artist of the highest order.

    I am not a musician but I like music. When I "discovered" Nelson Eddy's old movies earlier this year, I had to have more of his wonderful voice, so I began buying his CD's. AH, SWEET MYSTERY OF LIFE was my first one, and such a delight. The variety of songs thrilled me greatly, and it was surprising to hear the different versions of such songs as "Neath the Southern Moon", "Senorita" and "Indian Love Call". I have read what some have said about it being lamentable that stereo wasn't around then. So what? We have what we have, and I am just so grateful to have his voice recorded so I, too, can enjoy the magnificence of his golden gift of song. This CD was a wonderful beginning in a Nelson Eddy collection and I recommend it to everyone who likes beautiful music, in spite of it not being ...

    This is a nostalgic CD with all of the favorite songs of Nelson Eddy & Jeanette MacDonald. I'm a big fan of Nelson & Jeanette & wanted to add it to my collection. This is an excellent CD & I've enjoyed it very much.
