The book is not "Like New," but more like Very Good or Good. My fault, I should have asked for pics. Got a pretty good deal on it. Arrived safely. The book was wrapped in cardboard and placed in a mailer. Survived the postal gauntlet intact! Kudos on the packaging. !Seller Recommended! Just ask questions or ask for additional pics.

        Remarkable

An intricate plot that keeps you guessing throughout. Realist, flawed, and highly original characters (lots of them) draw you into the action. Perhaps best of all--if you're a fan of museums--are the descriptions of the inner workings of the New York Museum of Natural History. By the end of the book, it felt as if I'd worked at the museum for twenty years. It's remarkable.

      • A Really Great , Well Written Book

This book in hard cover is difficult to find. I had it in paperback but I read it so many times, the book was getting very tired. I found it at Goodwill Industries at a great price, It is one of the best books I've ever read. I highly recommend it,
