    They don't make them like this anymore...

    These little old school Panasonic portable CD players are very reliable. There isn't much to go wrong with them, except unless they are thrown around or dropped very hard. Bought one 20 years ago new and it still works flawlessly. Bought this one used (same age) and it too works flawlessly. They were made in Japan and can be used in the car, on a home system, or as a mobile unit with headphones. A 4.5 volt DC plug will get You power from any outlet if You don't want to use the batteries. Like to see 20+ years out of the generic ones sold now..LOL

    Great quality CD player

    I first bought this exact player in 1998. It has very good quality sound, an extra bass button and 40 second anti-shock. This is the 3rd one I've bought because I dropped one 5 feet onto the hard floor and broke the back hinges and gave another one to my sister. Very reliable & 2 AA batteries needed.

    Fantastic cd player

    I purchased this product because l wanted a good quality player. Nowadays I cannot get a brand name cd player in my hometown.The generic cd players that are currently on sale did not last much time. So I looked on eBay and after much browsing I purchased a few units, including this Panasonic unit. To tell the truth, I am impressed that despise their age, they work very well, like when they were taken out of the box for the very first time. Thanks.
