    Works great. Essential tool.

    Works like a charm. If you've ever tried using an XLR to 1/4" cable you'll notice a loss of 60% of your gain and less frequency range. You need a transformer to fix the impedance and this does the trick neatly.

    Works well

    Works well & produces proper impedance matching without noise ; using a cheaper XLR to 1/4” without a transformer like this will deliver weak signal. I broke mine eventually by having it get beat up in a bag of gear for years but it’s reasonably sturdy and I bought an exact replacement.
