It is almost exactly the part i needed. It was an exact match except for the plastic switch housing. The new housing has ribs on the outside of the plastic housing that were not on my original factory part. I had to file the ribs down with sandpaper to get the switch assembly into the head of the streamlight "tasklight-3AA". To end-user: it is a bit difficult to reassemble this light. The switch housing should slide in, do not force it in. You must have good skills/patience to reassemble this.
