Nice follow up to their genious previous album.
There was an important guitarist change during the last tour. Any group have to recuperate from that, it takes some time, and Rise Against is up to the task right away and they deliver a good album in their style. «Appeal to reason» is a solid classic punk rock album. To any fan, remember that it is very hard to reach the perfection they have reached on «The Sufferer and the Witness», which I consider is their ultimate album (like «Master of Puppets» for Metallica, or «Back in Black» from AC/DC). But with this new one they it hard, with a few (at least 4) very good songs. Energic, catchy, melodic but still in your teeth. This is Rise against. Of course, you will hear the classic comment: It was better before, less commercial, and so on... My answer to this is: The need to evoluate ... Rise Against Never Disappoints
Once again, the boys from Rise Against do not disappoint! It is very hard nowadays to consistently put out great rock with an edge and they have done time and time again. One of my favorite bands.

Really like this cd, started off like some old offspring and rage, good cd, enjoyed it. If you like alternative rock this one is for you.
