    Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young--American Dream

    CS&N always sounded best when they became CSN&Y. Deja Vu was pretty near perfect. This collaboration is almost as good. Young's tunes are my favorites, whether he's giving it to some politician (American Dream), the government in general (Name of Love), Bankers (This Old House), or just writing a love song (Feel Your Love). Crosby is his usual poignant self with his heart-wrenching lyrics of "Compass" or (taking on the government himself) the powerful "Nighttime for the Generals." The latter has some amazing guitar solos that I presume are Young's. I really liked the Stills/Young song "Got It Made." Super harmony! The rest I can take or leave, but the aforementioned songs make the CD worth purchasing alone.

    Americana at its best! Top ten best cd ever

    One of the bands best recordings to date...With all thats wrong with the world today the songs on this cd are an inspiration to the insanity we all feel and see deeply everyday. The song this old house states the chips are down and the banks coming tommarrow to take it all away no more explanation needed. It hits at the heart and keeps coming with the hits you didnt hear on the radio and should have!!!
