    This item works just as promised. In a side-by-side comparison, you'll notice that this replacement bracket is thicker than the original BMW part, and that the plastic is both more pliant/rubber-like and that the finish is somewhat opaque instead of glossy and smooth. The top surface of the unit omits the tabs that 'lock' the bracket in place. Yet when everything is installed, it works perfectly. I appreciate someone committing to manufacture these NLA parts, as there is a need. Thank you!
