What a bargain! Incredible craftsmanship w/ impeccable details. Stainless w/ smooth satin finish looks/feels ground. The ten grooves in the grip area have radiused roots. Over ~1" of length, the point tapers down from of ~5/16" Ø to ~1/16" at the needle socket. The radiused cap is evenly & darkly blackened/blued and has crisp, sharp knurling like you find on Starrett items. Cap threads perfectly into chamfered tip storage recess. If I could make one this nice, I'd price it way higher!

I just received this. Old Skool cool. I team a retired machinist. 33 years with Oscar Mayer. Back in the day as they say we designed and built all of the processing and packaging machines. Sadly those days are long gone. These scribes are really nice. I'm in a similar boat I guess. Looking for something to keep me busy and make a little extra money. I'm starting with rebuilding Eagle 66 oil csns and restoring old Stanley rules and planes. Thanks very much for the sale.
