Replacement for identical unit that failed in three months. Always order two for this reason.
Actually quality appears fine but this is a replacement for same unit installed about three months ago that recently failed. Replaced it with the spare and refrigerator running fine again. This order for two goes into the parts box. Any new part can fail so not really an issue with me. Since most appliances and parts are made outside the USA you have no assurances of quality control. Price is good so I always order two at a time in case one fails which one of the previous order did. Local appliance parts store wanted $59.00 for identical part as owner showed it to me. Same markings as this one. I understand locals need to make decent profit but approximately $20.00 for two compared to local $59.00 for one is ridiculous. Sign of a bad cold control
My refridgerator would not cut on unless I tapped on the cold control knob. A tell tale sign of a bad cold control switch. Very inexpensive and easy repair.

So far so good
So far, so good. Makes the refrigerator run colder than the old one, apparently, but after adjusting the thermostat accordingly appears to work as expected. Longevity will be the question, but right now works like it should.

NOT OEM
Installed this part and in replacing control knob the entire turning piece broke away from the main part. Lunaparts sent a replacement. Tried control knob on new part BEFORE INSTALLATION and the exact same problem happened. Do NOT buy this faulty part! Bought OEM part and no issues whatsoever.
