MSI - THE UNTOLD STOREY
Ok. MSI was not always the super great company they are now. But they have come a long way. Before big names like ASUS & DFI held the crown for computer hardware. Until a micro company names micro star inovation came along. But lets get into the review of this board. I have owned about 3 MSI motherboard and 2 of their graphics cards. And i must say that i have been satisfied and even overwelmed by their performance. Their products always seem to have something extra that no other has. As far as motherboards go, this motherboard is excellent. Nvidia graphics built in (meaning you can do some mild gaming and ofcourse multimedia to your liking) 775 processor support up to Quad Cores. There is also a wide range of lower processors supported, unlike other brands that limit you by what cpu can ... Ok. MSI was not always the super great company they are now. DDR2 for a max of 4gbs, U can run windows 7 and Vista on this board easily. My fav feature of course is the fact that its a micro atx board. and not only that, but its a small micro atx board. So this means it can fit just about anywhere. Sata also has raid function so thats a plus. So in Conclusion: If you are looking for a great board to replace one of those oem boards in a dell or a hp micro pc, or u just want something reliable and cheap, Then this is definately the board for you. I have used this particular motherboard for my main system and so far it has performed as expected. The only drawback is there is no provision for dual memory use I can only invoke single channel memory access. I am using an ATI video card and there are no glitches to speak of. The items purchased came as new units in original manufacturers boxes which was quite pleasant. After two weeks ran into a snafu still waiting for corrective action from seller.
