    Insatiable Hunger

    Addicting? Yes, most definitely. From the first time I listened to this album I was hooked. This CD contains such power in both musical content as well as lyrical content that any rock or heavy metal fan will appreciate it. There is so much to this album in the way of emotion, I cannot explain it all in this small review. But here's a condensed overview: "Sehnsucht" - insatiable longing or hunger (sexually connotated), "Engel" - loosely based on religious beliefs (translates to "Angel"), "Tier" - touches on incestual abuse, "Bestrafe Mich" - "punish me," "Du Hast" - Rammstein's first successful single, most well known Rammstein song, "Buck Dich" - another sexually connotated song, "Spiel Mit ...

    Rammstein Sehnsucht

    This cd is the epitome of the industrial dance of Rammstein. It's like the techno band Kraftwerk wrecked and wrapped itself around a 1970 big block Dodge Barracuda and the end result was the band Rammstein. They are not just some run of the mill "metal" band. They are much beyond this. If you are a fan of metal or techno you wil love this band. It makes me want to take my 1961 Plymouth Fury on a rural road with lots of twists and turns open that baby up and drive. Of course as fast as I can!!!!!!

    Heavy but with meaning

    This album has proven time and again to me that these guys know what they're doing. The general sound of the album is a dry-ish yet powerful blend and, as with all their albums, each song is a story all its own. Du Hast brought the band real fame after it was showcased in The Matrix. They took it from there and ran and since, I haven't known one album of theirs to be any less unique than its previous or present counterparts. I would not pass this one up and would definitely recommend it to anyone whom, whether or not they understand German, enjoys a great listen!

    Classic album

    Classic Rammstein album and easily one of their heaviest, if not the heaviest. It's great from start to finish, all of their others are great as well but this one is definitely a must have for any fan.
