Good value for the money, you get a lot of camera
got my Fuji s4000 digital camera not long back, found it easy to use, not had time to work everything out yet but so far the camera has been very good. Excellent pics. and lots of extra functions. the 30x zoom is good, so I don't have to change lens the camera is light and having the 3" monitor and electronic viewfinder is very handy. Just one fault, wish the English instructions were in book form and not just on a down load. A lot of camera for the money.. £ 159 plus 4Gb card
Looked at all the recent Fuji bridge cameras and opted for the most recent one, the S4000. Nice piece of kit, rather bulky, but amazing optical zoom... 30X. A nice feature is the Panoramic, only need to press the shutter once and it does the rest once you match up the 2 crosses, gives a good perfectly joined up photo. Suggest using some good rechargable batteries, i got the Uniross 2700Mah with fast charger, they last forever compared to the standard alkaline ones which just get eaten up with the zoom etc.Not too sure about the 14m pixels, can`t say i`ve noticed any improved quality, but then i haven`t blown any of the images up to A4 or above. A few of my friends were really impressd at the price for such a camera. So yes, in general i`m very pleased with it so far. I`m not yet into all ... Excellent camera package without spending a fortune.
This is my third Fuji. I always liked these S Series cameras. I went for this model because of the good wide angel it has. For the price you get a great package: A good lens with Image stabilization. A 14 megapixel CCD which is great for enlargements. A good and comfortable grip. Both size and weight. A host of features, like the panorama feature. Slow shutter speeds for night shots. A great camera for the price.This is my third Fuji. I always liked these S Series cameras. I went for this model because of the good wide angel it has. Good mid range camera
This was purchased for my son, as he is off to work for Camp America for 10 weeks, and needed a better camera. Not sensible to go SLR, due to size. Loves the camera, was able to access all functions easily. This was a refurbished camera, and I have taken out an extra warranty. Much improved picture quality than my old Olympus midi. Hated no lens cap, and no card with the package --- he had to wait for these to catch up from other suppliers. Great value for money. Very happy with this camera
This camera is idiot proof. If you're not an idiot you will be very happy with it's flexibility too. Great image quality and the zoom facilty is amazing. I had to spend a £100 on a Macro lens on my previous camera, but it's not needed here. The camera will focus from 2cm, which is great. Only one problem. Unless i've overlooked something, you can't plug this into the mains so keep an eye on those batteries.This camera is idiot proof.
