It is a nice shade of gray and it actually has more pockets than I need -- a first for me! The size is great. It's roomy but not too big and bulky. There is a special padded pocket for a phone and the strap is wide and substantial. I think I will love this bag. The seller was good with communication and I would buy from him again. I may eventually order another one of the bags in a differerent color.
