One of the best woodturning chucks available.
This is an excellent woodturning chuck. It uses the jaws that also fit the Oneway Talon chuck. I prefer it, because it is smaller, lighter, and faster to use. If your lathe has a good spindle lock mechanism, this chuck can be tightened and loosened with one hand on one lever, while the other hand holds the workpiece in the correct position. I like this better than the keyed chucks, like the Talon and Stronghold. Some people feel the opposite way, but many of them will have been converted, once they try the one-handed clamping/unclamping technique, used with the spindle lock. If your lathe doesn't have a reliable spindle lock, then the chuck can be tightened and loosened using two levers and two hands.
