Time consuming
Took 4 housr to hook up but no instruction to set time on remote and Hooked up 12v positve to battery yellow to cig lighter with a tap a fuse instead og ignition ground to battery brown wire to red on siren white to flasher postive etc... I am waiting for motion sensor to hook up. 2016 vw jetta gli

It’s a basic alarm, quality construction, but the install manual sheeesh….why can’t they all just use the common terms. Cons: has remote start built in, how the heck do I wire it up? There’s no diagram for that!! My car doesn’t require their “link” bypass. GRRRRR! Most alarms use similar terms, there’s are a bit discrepancy here and there. Pros: fairly easy install, although I needed to reference 3 different wiring manuals. 1 oem and 2 aftermarket. Remotes feel solid. I love the LED built in the antenna, that’s my favorite feature. Compact, so you can really get it up and out of the way. Great alarm easy to instal.
I installed my self no problem everything works as should siren is loud, remember there are no sensors in this kit Tho. The alarm goes off when u open the door if it’s locked.
