Notes
On GARAGE, Cross Canadian Ragweed's follow up to 2004's SOUL GRAVY, the bad boys from Stillwater, OK serve up their signature straight-up blend of Country and Southern rock 'n' roll. Whether celebrating their non-stop touring lifestyle on "Late Last Night," or paying heartfelt tribute to recently murdered guitar her "Dimedog" Darryl Abbot on "Dimedog," the bands songs dig deeper and hit harder then ever.

  • Garage - Cross Canadian Ragweed

I love to hear Cody singing and the strong, vibrant beat throughout many of the songs. The guitar playing is spectacular and gives the music a country-acid rock feel to it. This music is so distinct from any other music I have heard. Every CD is different, but they all have the same good lyrics, strong instrument back-up and the unique quality of Cody Canada's voice. If you have never heard this group, you owe it to yourself to buy this CD or any of there others. There is nothing about this CD that I do not like. It is simply one of the best. I purchased this because of my growing addiction to Cross Canadian Ragweed. I had previously purchased two other CD's by this group and loved boh of them. I plan on continuing to buy the rest and any new ones that they produce ...

  • Pegged as country, CCR rocks....

Cross Canadian Ragweed has been labeled as a country band by many, but I have heard two of their CDs and seen them live, and these guys rock. There definitely is a country influence on their style, much like the country rock genre that sprang up in the 70s (with bands like the early Eagles, Poco, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Heartsfield, and Firefall fitting that bill) that we don't hear about any more. Veteran rockers that enjoy any of the bands mentioned earlier will appreciate CCR in my opinion.

  • Garage-Cross Canadian Ragweed

First ran across this gem on Napster. I would never have thought to look for this in the country section, the guitar just rocks on Lighthouse Keeper. Garage is one of those CD's where each time you play it you find something different to like. Overall it's the best cd, start to finish, I've bought in a couple years! Buy this, and then check out CCR's earlier stuff. I love it!

  • Best undiscovered band in recorded histroy

They classify this group as being Country-Rock. I'm hearing much more rock, than I am country. I'm not exaggerating ... This band is awesome. I have only listened to this one CD of theirs. I guarantee I will be listening to more very soon..

  • Great CCR CD for a great price on Ebay

This CD did not disappoint me in the least bit. It was easily on par with their previous work. Ebay gave me a great chance to purchase it quickly. CCR (or Cross Canadian Ragweed if you will) are a very underestimated group whether it be country or rock).
