Small but effective
I like the small profile. It is easily transportable. Don't expect a built in screen or a battery power supply with it. It is simply a portable player designed for plugging into a television and a wall socket. I did find a few issues with playing home burned movies. It liked to skip and freeze. I guess family videos will need to wait until the relatives move into the 20th century. I also had a moment of concern when I used it the first time. The unit became very warm after one movie. I solved this problem by raising it 3/8 inch using a couple of jewel cases at each end. This helped increase the air circulating around the unit and prevent overheating. Coby DVD-211 Portable DVD Player
I needed a small sized dvd player, and this one works quite well for where I needed to put it. I have had no problems with it, but have only used it a couple of times. The picture quality is not the best in the world, but I can easily deal with that given the price I paid. And it was easy setting up.
