Hosted by Roger Mc Guinn (from The Byrds) & Chuck Negron from Three Dog Night; the show is nothing but non stop great performances by a number of great artists. John Kay & Steppenwolf rock the house with live performances of MAGIC CARPET RIDE and BORN TO BE WILD. If you watched the PBS special on TV, you saw that but you didn't see THE PUSHER. It is one of the many bonus tracks featured on this DVD!!!! I was there to see it and it was AWESOME!!!!! Not to forget other greats like Eric Burdon & The Animals, Chuck Negron, Roger Mc Guinn, Martha Reeves, Gary Brooker of Procol Harum, The Grass Roots, The Association, Scott Mc Kenzie plus classic video clips of The Moody Blues, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jimi ... Excellent Company puts on a great show + historic info
The Shout Factory Execs know the Music and the history of the artists. You get a truly great DVD with lots of historic clips. The real people are narrating the show. I would buy anything by the Shout Factory... I was in a band with Richard Foos and I knew him in the 60's... He is the REAL DEAL! You will love the show and the clips. Larry Parker
