    As always, Hyacinth is an irrepressible social climber.

    This DVD is a laughable one from beginning to end. Hyacinth (Patrica Routledge) does not disappoint us in anyway whatsoever. She is truly the Queen of Comics from England and I mean that with respect. In "Keeping Up Appearances," she is an individual that thinks that she belongs to an upper social class of which she is not. And she is trying to get her husband to think like she does. And although, her family is lovable and yet dysfunctional, they seem to go along with her idea that she is of a social class above their own. And then there is Elizabeth and Emmit, Hyacinth's neighbors of which she relies on for advice on how to have her "candle-light suppers." They in essence, seem to want to avoid her like the plague. But as always, Hyacinth gets her way and the neighbors are woven ...

    this is a must have dvd series of English humor.

    Thisd is a must have dvd series for those of us who really enjoy English humor.I bought this and other dvds from the keeping up Apperances TV series because I like to watch the diffrent Characters in the comic study. The seller of this product also send me extra merchindise that I had not expecterd in the form of production photographs that I really appreciated. you will not go wrong ordering this product and will have many hours of enjoyment watching this program.

    Keeping Up Appearances

    I love anything that says "Keeping Up Appearances. I think the actors in this situation comedy are all just perfect in their parts and I never get tired of watching them. I watch them over and over. I would probably watch anything with Patricia Rutledge or Clive Swift were in. I also love the characters of Geofrey Hughes and Judy Cornwell. These characters are all so loveable and I just wish this program was still in existance.
