    Sopwith Camel: Ace Raymond Collisaw (1/48 model kit, Smer 0809)

    There is always something very special about a Smer model product. It's clearly from the old Aurora mold. Only the details are much more extensive than the old Aurora Sopwith Camel that I use to collect back in the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's. I haven't had the time to build it but as a rule from when I was learning in my teens-I always examine the models to be sure all of the parts are included. I have nothing to worry about Smer's models. Someone over at Smer is doing their due diligence with exceptional, superior quality! Experience WW1 modelers will always be happy to acquire a Smer product. I'm not just saying this to get extra brownie points. I know quality when I see quality! I highly recommend this product to all WW1 modelers.
