Purchased a vintage JVC KD-D4 cassette deck that was listed as “tested” and working. Unit received did not work (high pitched feedback during playback), and it was missing a foot - not apparent in the ad. Seller eventually agreed to a return. Took until the very last day allowed by eBay to issue refund, but it was issued. So, almost a month after my original purchase, I got my money back. And for vintage audio gear, packing was… questionable. They used an empty dog food bag as padding.

Console arrived complete and in good condition. Laser will need to be recalibrated to read disks better. Disk tray works and memory is functional. Controller that was included did not work, but seller refunded enough to cover another controller. Package arrived later than expected, but that is on USPS not the seller. Would recommend that the seller use a thicker box and more packing material in the future for other console shipments.
