Book arrived in good time. P.O. did a number on the package, putting a healthy width wise crease in both the Gemini mailer and the book as well. Seller was apologetic and made good on it. Appreciated the good communication from beginning to end and prompt service from this friendly seller. Thanks so much. Grade: A+

  • An excellent insight into events at the time.

This hard to find soft back book (although it's only 29 pages) consists of a fair amount of text (due to the very small font used) and some really good photo's of the band in their formative years. Some of the fascinating things revealed include the fact that whilst the Human League had a number one hit with "Don't you want me" during December 81, the band members were on a fixed wage from EMI records of £43 a week ! Well worth reading if you can ever find a copy. Persevere - it's worth the wait ! A point to note, the book is actually from 1982 (not 1983).
