    I loved this movie!

    Wow! This movie is a whole experience and you are carried along for the ride. You'll be caught up in a whirlwind of emotions watching this masterpiece. It's a love story gone bad, really bad but you won't be able to stop watching it.

    Good, believable plot, Diane Lane, Richard Gere A++

    Every time I have seen this movie show up on TV networks, I wind up watching it - even though I know exactly how it all is going to turn out. Diane Lane is masterful in using her facial expressions to say much without uttering a single word. The intensity of her wreckless passion contrasts her sincere love of her husband (Richard Gere) who has done nothing to deserve the betrayal of his wife. Yet, when they both get sucked into an inescapable plot, they go about trying to repair the emotional damage and rebuilding their lives. The final scene is open-ended leaving the viewer to speculate on the eventual outcome: will justice be served, or do we root for them to escape their crime and rebuild their mutual trust?

    UNFAITHFUL is absolutely a really good erotic and steamy HOT thriller. It is a movie that you will watch again and again, I certainly did! It is 124 minutes long thriller of the perfect marriage, a chance encounter with a stranger, that leads to a steamy full blown affair, desire and obsession and the ultimate betrayal and the toll it takes on all parties. Richard Gere is right on mark with placid personality that explodes, Diane Lane is charming and erotic in her role as Connie Sumner, Oliver Martinez gives a wonderful supporting performance as the perfect stranger. It is the ultimate thriller packed full of suspense, erotic thrills, betrayal adn murder. It is rated R, not recommended for children!!

    You don't get an Oscar nod for nothing.

    Diane Lane turns heads and drops mouths as the cliche breaking, unfaithful wife. While Gere and Martinez offer good support, the story focuses primarily on Lane's extra-marital affair, and the deep, emotional and physical rending of her marriage and family life. Hands down Lane's most solid role to date.

    the ugliness of affairs.... taken away.

    Another acting-skills movie of believable talents throughout. I liked the New York setting of a very windy day... and all the things that can actually go wrong with affairs. A cautionary tale even, realistically giving the viewer a chance to "re-think" that one bad move that could possibly change many lives, for the worst. And too, to that one betrayed individual showing that things weren't quite as bad as seemed. My best to everyone. !
