Wicked Plants has a very broad scope, not much depth. I was not looking for textbook. Wicked plants guides us through the vast overwhelming complex of botanicals and others. Use this book to end confusion and target areas of interest. Then wade through the increasingly large body of research to find the desired specifics. On the down side are the cartoon drawings that litter some pages and the repetition of some questionable historic "factoids." Wicked Plants has a very broad scope, not much depth.
