    COLORED PAGES!!!!

    I have bought a number of jewelry collector books and this book by far is the best. It is informative and easy to understand. My favorite part it's all in color every single image is in great vivid color. I will be looking for more like this.

    A Costume Jewelry Manufaturer Dictionary

    Though this book has a great many lovely photos and information on a lot of companies which aren't included in other such books, I think it failed in that the backs of the pieces are not shown. True, this is a failing of a great many such books, but it is an important failing. If more books showed the backs of jewelry pieces, buyers and sellers would be able to recognize pieces better. Otherwise, this is a good sort of dictionary type book in that it shows manufacturer, as small description and a few pieces.

    Exceptional and Informative

    Excellent pictures display the explanations of each Jewelry piece. There are many pieces of Jewelry in this Book that I have bought and sold, not knowing values and the stories behind them. I enjoyed reading about the factors that influence market prices, such as rarity, design, and demand. There is only one thing that bothered me while trying to associate the readings with the pictures. The pictures were photographed on a black background and some were very hard to see and appreciate.
