    Battery Dead

Do not buy iPods from this era (pre 2010). There is a very good chance that the battery is dead. I bought a brand new one and it did not hold a charge at all.

  • The 4th Gen Nano does it right!

The 4th generation Nano, Available in capacities of 8GB, and 16GB (priced at $149 & $199 respectively) these have a scratch-resistant aluminum body and are now slimmer than ever. The unit has new rounded, contour edges that make it feel thinner than it is and feel right in your hand. The new line-up comes in a whole array of colors to match the rainbow, and to match your personality as well. The 4th Generation Nano has completely redesigned the Nano over the 3rd generation “Fat”, and it feels like it is different on the sides when you hold it comparatively to the older generations. Stepping back to the 1st and 2nd generation designs, it takes the good of the style of the 2nd gen, along with the advancements in the “Fat” 3rd generation versions, and creates a winning design. This design ...

  • A great step up

It's what you're going to expect from any new IPod (minus the Touch, of course). Apple's new marketing idea, the Chromatic series, shines a new light to the Nano. Seeing that the third generation wasn't exactly a great new jolt to the Nano other than it being a miniature version of the IPod Video, the 4th Generation returns to the slim, tall model that the Nano was known as before. The 4th Gen basically has only one new addition that stands out. Similar to the ITouch, the IPod Nano Chromatic is motion-sensitive. This allows you to tilt your Nano horizontally to watch movies or look through Album covers similar to the ITunes store. Additionally, there is the new shuffle method. Although the idea of "rattling" the Nano will shuffle your songs looks great in the commercials, it can be ...

  • Excellent iPod!

When I first opened the box, I was honestly surprised at the size of the iPod. It is definately thinner than any other iPod Nano that was ever made, yet it has the largest storage for a Nano, which is a massive plus. Some of the features include the "shake to shuffle" feature which is a fun feature, but can be an annoyance sometimes. For instance, while driving the iPod was on my center console, and it fell down on a sharp turn, and shuffled by mistake. No worries though, you can turn off this feature to prevent it. Another cool feature is that using an accelerometer, you can tilt the screen and view and scroll through album covers. The games that are included use the accelerometer to control them. My personal favorite is the maze game which you tilt the iPod to control the ball. ...
