  • Great 'second half' to the first hardcover book.

    Let's get some quick points out of the way. Preacher is not for children, is funny, over the top, somewhat violent and doesn't pull punches in terms of swearing. It may be slightly cliche, but if you like Pulp Fiction you'll probably love Preacher. The overall story is about a Preacher (of sorts), Jesse, that gets possessed by an offspring of an angel and a demon, which has powers that can rival God. Jesse also has his on again off again girlfriend and best friend Cassidy (an Irish Vampire) along in tow. His mission is to find God and make him answer for the bad things in the world. The book two storyline is about a continuation of a cliffhanger left in book one (hardcover), where a secret society has come into the picture. Book two does not end on a cliffhanger ...
