Great for card making and small projects
I really love this machine so far. I’m terrible with scissors (can’t even cut a straight line), so I’m very happy to have this machine. I will say though that it didn’t do so great cutting out script letters. It made my paper scrunched on all of the finer curves. I had the setting as regular for card stock but perhaps if I adjust the settings then it won’t do that. I’m still exploring how to use it but I really like it so far. A New Reliable Friend
I used a Cricut over 15 years ago, but these new ones are way better and more amazing! I got the smaller Cricut Joy because of its size. I am using it for card making and small cutouts. The blade is super sharp. The mat has lasted through 4 days of a crafting retreat. The pens are great. I bought more pens - the only one I got was a black one. I used the vinyl right away - put it on a mug - threw it into the dishwasher and the vinyl adhered perfectly!I used a Cricut over 15 years ago, but these new ones are way better and more amazing!
