  • GREAT MOVIE - Stone of Destiny

Although it may seem like a special niche movie of interest only to Scottish folk -- and for those who are Scottish or who especially like Scotland there is additional intensity -- but it is simply a great movie. The underlying theme is of the young people feeling they can individually change the world for the better by showing up the older folk who often think things cannot be changed. The plot moves quickly, there is suspense and emotional tension with a few humorous moments from time to time to break the tension. The cast seems just about perfect, the acting, the directing, editing and photography are all done extremely well! The special features help give historical background and verifies that great care was given to provide an accurate portrayal of Scotland & England in 1950 ...

  • Excellent Viewing Material

This is a passionate, clean, patriotic, based on a true story movie. I throughly enjoyed myself. This movie is cute & being Scotch-Irish & English...I really got caught up in it. It evoked deep & old pride in myself for love of country. The characters are innocent & uncorrupted, being set in 1950. The architecture in Europe (namely in England), is so stunning. You go places in this movie. Places that I long to see & probably will not see in my lifetime. The countryside is so beautiful. It is green, green & more green! I highly recommend this wonderful movie that actually has a real story to tell about my beloved Scotland.

  • Wonderful movie

I am very pleased with this movie. I first saw it on Netflix and immediately searched for it online afterwards! It's an uplifting movie based on a true story, and even better still it's a family friendly movie! I had thought movies just weren't made like this anymore. I'm glad to be proven wrong. I just wish it was easier to find this movie - it's out of print. If you can find it, I highly recommend it!
