The Pioneer TS-SW2502S4 one-way car subwoofer can give you the powerful sound you want. This is a non-enclosed, 10-inch subwoofer that allows for a shallow mount. Its cone is made out of mica injection-molded resin. This rigid material allows air to move around more freely, producing loud and deep bass tones. The dual spider helps stabilize the cone. The subwoofer has angled push terminals that are designed for quick and easy connections to speaker wires.

    Very Compact with plenty of Power.

    Very Nice 10" low profile Sub-woofer. It has a lot of power handling at 300 Watts RMS. Easy to install behind the back seat, the only space available in my 2003 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab Truck. A 10" circular guard grill was added to add some mechanical protection to the front that rest on against the rear of the back rest. The instructions provides 3 different boxes design for tight places based on the required space volume that applies to the sub-woofer, which I guess is fine when you have the challenge of keeping the designed air volume in a tight place. The hole size for the box is more accurate by measurement than using the template.

    Pioneer TS-SW2502S4 10 inch sub

    This subwoofer is very compact (shallow mount). I installed it in a box I built for under the rear seat on my Nissan Frontier crew cab. The box is approx. 0.38 cubic feet and filled with polyfill. This sub has an excellent sound for only being 10 inch - surpassed all of my expectations and then some. I would highly recommend this sub and especially if you have space constraints. I am driving it with a R500X1D amp.

    Great bass, for smaller spaces, with SQ & build quality.

    These are Pioneer's second generation of shallow mount subs. Each new generation, seems to be an improvement on the previous generation, but while maintaining very good bass response & build quality. These subs will hold their own against any other major brand out there. Pioneer is currently producing it's 3rd generation of shallow mount subs, but this 2nd generation sub still stacks up against the competition in every way.

    Nice compact subs gives plenty of room for other stuff

    I already had two Ts-swx 2502 being pushed with a pioneer gm-d8601 class d amp they sure sound neat, but ever since I installed a bass enhancer they sounded better but lesson learned never pick up the gain of the bass enhancer when song already has plenty of bass I did and blew the fuses of the amp and burned 1 subwoofer so only had to get new fuses and another sub and lesson learned I wont be messing with the bass enhancer when song has plenty of bass plus them small compact subs have nice smooth pounding bass and love the way they fit on my crew cab pickup truck under the rear seat specially gives room for my small toolbox.
