    A great book everyone should read

    This is a great book about what we can all do whether we are Democrat, Republican, Independent or just 'Fed-Up.' All of us basically want the same things from our government officials, and most of us are disappointed because of what we have not been getting. This book identifies options and compromises that our leaders could be working on to keep America moving forward economically and socially. I liked this book because the authors did not just talk about what was wrong but have come up with some mostly bi-partisan ideas about how to make difficult changes and improve what we are doing. And, they tell us what we can do to make sure our voices are heard by our politicians. I wish each Senator and Representative could have this as mandatory reading. Perhaps it would stir them to think out ...

    Real Change

    As usual Newt has grasped the big picture and like his contract with America, Real Change capture the mood of America and then creates a plan to accomplish what the majority of Americans want from government. Namely a government that WORKS. Why this didn't happen back during the Republican Revolution when Newt had the reings of government in his hands, is barely touched upon. Scott M. Faulkner's Book "Naked Emperors" is a good one for the answer to that. I like the book think it will do some good if people get behind it, it will do more good. Well worth the read and thought provoking. Glad I bought it.

    Simplistic & Impractical to Implement

    Newt Gingrich is one of the brightest minds of current and former public servants in Washington. However, almost all of the solutions prescribed in his book make farfetched assumptioms about what many of the people are capable of doing. A self-reliant, pay as you go approach is an idyllic system that cannot be backed into. The price to accomplish such a goal would require writing off a significant part of our population who could not compete. You need to plant the seeds for the future. As a society, we should place our highest priority on the preparation of our children for a productive and happy life. Neither consevatives nor liberals are prepared to make the sacrifices needed to make that happen.

    Real Change by Newt Gingrich

    LOVED THIS BOOK! I took this book out of the library. I liked it so much that I purchased a copy. My mom also took it out from her library and loved it. Liberals (my mom) and conversatives (me) will enjoy this book. Newt bashes liberals and conversatives but doesn't stop there. Newt provides solutions to the problems so real change can occur. A must read!

    Real Change review

    I bought the book because I had read before but the book was borrowed. The book is great and well written and takes us back to a civil time in politics that people could disagree without a persons character being questioned!
