      Coffee-house coffee at home!

      I have used different Bodum coffee-makers for the last 25 years. This has to be one of their best. Easy to use, easy to clean. Coupled with an electric kettle, which quickly provides boiling water, I have steaming hot wonderfully aromatic coffee in a matter of 5 minutes. Keep in mind the quality of your water. Filtered water is a good idea in many places of the country, for bringing out the best your coffee has to offer. Don't waste good coffee with bad water and poor electric makers. Although it says 8 cups, it's more like three cups - US size. If you appreciate really good coffee at an affordable price - look no further.

      I've been using this model for years and I love it. Simple and sharp-looking, easy to clean. I drink big cups of coffee so this size is best for me.

      initial use seems okay

      Safely boxed for shipping. Works well in first two uses at least. Outer rim of coffee metal filter is slightly bent but doesn't seem to hinder operation in early stages of use.
