    zippo hand warmer

    I live near erie pa with 6 ft of snow and bone chilling cold .I use my hand warmer when I snow blow ,go in the woods or take the grand kids playing in the snow they love it.I can't say enough goods things about it easy to use ,and it works . I bought 2 warmers I should have bought 2 more.like i say the grand kids love them.

    Adequate

    The Zippo hand warmer does okay for warming your hands. My reason for 3 stars is that the catalytic burner units seem to burn out fast, and replacements aren't cheap even on e bay. The part is said to last for 40-50 hours which on a 12 hour hand warmer only gives you 4 uses on average before you may need to replace the burner unit. I use two units when out in the cold so at an average of $8.00 for a replacement burner that's an additional $16.00 on average every 40-50 hours of use. With 100 hours of use I spent as much on replacement burners as buying a new Zippo hand warmer and a new replacement burner would cost.

    Just what the doctor ordered.

    Very warm. Lasts all day and half the night. I’m a freeze baby and I live in Minnesota... but with this thing in my shirt pocket I can last all day. Whether I’m working, making a snowman with the kids, fishing, or hunting I’m always comfortable.

    we had similar hand warmers when I was a kid some 50+ years ago. never could get them to work. I was pleasantly surprised when I filled this hand warmer and it fired up with no problems and heated for a long time. looking forward to using it this Deer season.

    Zippo hand warmer, worth the money or not?

    The quality was great, the warmer in it’s self is only ok. I️ lit it and it worked, but it really doesn’t warm your hands up that much. I️ guess if your hands aren’t frozen to begin with and it’s just a bit chilly out it might be ok. The 3rd time I️ tried to use it , after filling it up, it kept going out on me, I’m not gonna cry over $10-$15 dollars but it will probably just sit and collect dust....
