F200EXR - a great automatic camera for photographers
How I use the F200EXR: Set the mode dial to "EXR" then press the "Menu" button and set the "Shooting Mode" to "D-Range Priority". Now press the "F" button and set "Dynamic Range" to 400%. This switches the F200EXR from 12Mpel to 6Mpel and lets it capture images with higher dynamic range. Do you remember shooting film? Press the "F" button and select a "Film Simulation Mode" : Provia (standard), Velvia (vivid), Asita (soft), B&W, Sepia Enjoy the camera. What I don't like about this camera: The F200EXR menu design and lack of extra buttons make doing things like exposure compensation or dare I say manual settings slow and annoying. There is no autobracketing. You cannot customize buttons or menus. You'll get the most out of the F200EXR after you experiment with it and learn how to use ... bEST FOR LOWLIGHT
This is a very good camera for it to be a point and shoot. I decided to buy this camera becuase I needed something for low light, before this camera I went through 3 kodak's and none met my expectations. This is one of a kind the pictures in low light settings are so amazing that no one would imagine you're in a low light place. The settings the buttons take time to get used to but it isn't impossible to learn I say about a week and you're good. Its a bit bulky but not exaggerrated it still fits in a purse. This camera also compares to the cannon gs11 I didn't know about the cannon till after I purchased the fuji film but it wouldn't have changed my decision, due to the fact that the cannon is way too big and bulky and will not fit in a purse and looks more like a DSLR. Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR Digital Camera
I was looking for a replacement for a Nikon S570 Coolpix and found the reviews for the Fuji F200EXR very positive. I was looking specifically for a camera with a decent cycle time between shots. The Nikon cycle time was very poor. I am very happy with the performance of the Fuji; the cycle time is as good as reviewed and I also appreciate the larger LCD screen. The photo quality is quite good as well; the colors are crisp compared to that of the Nikon which tended to be "yellow-ish". Great camera and good value.
This is a good, full featured camera that is easy to use. A great camera for the value. It won't impress someone looking for an SLR, but as a point and shoot, I have been very happy.

Better than my SLR!
After searching any information I could find on Automatic cameras, I found the F200EXR to be what I was looking for. I have a Canon Rebel slr and do not use all its features, plus it is much bigger to lug around. The automatic features on this camera are awesome and the biggest plus is the low light photos it takes - they are GREAT!
