    TurboTax gets the job done.

    I dislike eBay's rating system. The middle star says, "It's OK" and I guess that means I'm satisfied but a middle-of-the-road rating makes it sound like I'm somewhat disgruntled. That is not the case, The next choice is four stars which is "Better than I expected." This is not accurate either because I have used TurboTax for several years and each time it is EXACTLY what I expected (and, therefore I am satisfied). So, my inclination is to give it five stars but there is no way I would consider it "Supersauce". Bottom line: TurboTax Deluxe gives me a tool to accurately complete my tax return each year. Thee are parts that are tough to navigate (like trying to import 1099-INT and DIV information -- I end up having to manually entering some. And two-state filing is a pain. But, I ...

    The product has become too expensive for my simple needs.

    I only use the 1040 SR form and their product is not the right product. I paid too much for this product that is not as simple as has been in the past. They charge extra for state simple forms to be e-mailed and I have a short out of state for CO that they want to charge $ 45.00 to complete. I only use TurboTax for the stored last year's information. Information about questions are not easy to get and for an extra charge, a person is available at an extra charge.

    Good, easy to use tax software. Been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years.

    Got it installed on the windows 10 machine and did the pull in of our old data from the 2019 tax file. One thing, I'm not sure of it it's working or not is that I couldn't put a pass word on the new 2020 tax file. Not sure if it cause I have no new data added yet or if something happened with the installation. Either way, it's working and I'll get back to using it when we get more tax paperwork in the mail.

    Sticking with H&R Block

    The first use of this tax program is rather cumbersome with all the questions, but quite thorough. The second year should be much easier as you would import much. Problem was with penalty for owing too much--no way to view/change the 2210 form, which is quite easy to do with H&R Block or commercial TaxSlayer tax programs. The end result would be overpaying the IRS the penalty amount if filed as prepared. Only solution seen was to enter the prior year data in the 2019 version so it could be imported into the 2020, at least enough to show tax numbers so the penalty would not be shown for 2020.
