  • Amazing Guide Book for Military Brats

This wonderful and insightful book takes you through the lives of so many other military brats and their families and delivers you to the "front porch" of friendship. Anyone who has ever been a military brat knows what the author is saying and knowing. Many tears were shed as I reread the book after another 10 years of previously reading it. Maybe it takes a lifetime to understand what it was like. It was particularly poignant since Pat Conroy's death. He was certainly the master of telling the story.
