About this product

Product Information

A simplified version of EA's best-selling NCAA Football franchise, NCAA Football 09: All Play features gesture-based controls, assisted play calling, and onscreen visual cues to help those new to the sport. Players are still free to choose from an assortment of licensed teams and can guide their favorite program across multiple seasons in the Dynasty mode. Controls are initiated with the Wii Remote, allowing users of all ages and abilities to quickly pass, run, and tackle without having to read an instruction manual. To further acclimate new users to the gridiron, various "action icons" will appear to notify players precisely when to evade defenders, tackle the ball carrier, bat down the ball, and more. Both a full playbook and an abbreviated version are available, with the option of letting the "head coach" call plays for those who would rather focus on the on-field action. For a more whimsical approach to college football, fans can select the Battle of the Mascots mode, an arcade-style game featuring an entire team of such favorites as Sparty the Spartan, Sparky the Sun Devil, and Harry the Husky.

This seller has phenomenal communication and business skills. Unfortunately for both this seller and myself, this package got lost in delivery due to a new USPS facility in my state. He was communicating and on top of this logistica snafu the entire time.

  • Graphics not great but grows on you.

I have been actually pleasantly surprised but it took a while for me to feel that way. The Dynasty mode is a lot of fun as you're the coach of a team and you recruit players, play a full season and get to track your progress in the rankings, deal with injuries, etc. Also, you can edit the rosters to insert the names of the players or even adjust their ratings. Further, there are a lot of features such as challenging calls, changing your depth chart, substituting players, etc. While this game is better on the PlayStation, it can be a really fun game once you learn more about its features and capabilities and aren't disappointed just because of the graphics.

  • Well worth the money!!!!!

Although, the stadiums are not totally authentic (ie Notre Dame) I am really enjoying this game. I think it is great that you can choose either BCS or FCS teams. You can either make it easy (limited control) or hard (total control). Has every great fight song as well. The Item I bought was brand new, so I can not speak for used games, but it works well. A must have for any Wii owner that loves college football.

  • Wii Going in the right direction

This is Wii's first NCAA Football and it shows that Wii is headed in the right direction but not quite there yet. The graphics are fantastic and the options are great but this version does not offer all of the dynasty mode characteristics that can be found with older X-Box/X-Box 360 and Play Station 2/3 versions. Still, all in all, a good buy and game. Hopefully, Wii will expand there dynasty mode options with there upcoming 2010 version.

  • Not a bad game

I saw several negative reviews about this game and was a little worried since it is the only NCAA football game EA Sports has come out with for the Wii. However, it is actually not bad. Sure it is lacking the great graphics, but most Wii games are. The gameplay seems pretty decent as well. I am by no means a seasoned video game player so I may be setting the bar a little low. However, it is a fun game to play by yourself or against friends.
