      12 point is better. Don’t buy unless percussion is a must

      6 point are not as good as 12 point, they are not as practical if being used on dirty or rusty nut& bolts/ harder to put on & off if not sometimes impossible ( less space) but more practical if used on high torque & 1/4 drive are not high torque. I wish I got 12point
