A Great Smart Thermostat
I was having trouble with my main air conditioner and finally determined that my old thermostat was not allowing my unit to cycle properly. This is a smart thermostat that learns your system and man did it make a difference. The unit now runs a lot less, the house is cooler, and the humidity level is lower in the house. I thought that the installation instructions were very good and easy to follow. My old thermostat was programable but this one is so much nicer. The display is nice, easy to read, and I also love the phone app and the computer access to make adjustments. After having the thermostat for three weeks I purchased a second one for the air conditioner used for the guest rooms on the other end of the house. Defective
Defective thermostat, when there is a heating demand the air conditioning and emergency heating works at the same time. I have the same thermostat for 3 years which works very well. I just wanted to have one in backup.

Good instructions. Size was smaller than what I had, so part of the wall shows that did not before. Hooked to wifi easily. Color can be coordinated. Brightness is good. The indoor temperature reads a little bit high - like two or three degrees, so I had to adjust up my indoor heat pump cut on temperature, so that is why I did not give it 5 stars. Gives me the inside and outside temperature and humidity
I can control it from my phone. I use this thermostat in a shop that I use at varied times so I need a thermostat I can manually set the temperature from my phone. Since some times I am away for several days I need to make sure the furnace is working. I am thinking of installing it in my home as well.

the setting should be adjusted while fans, a/c, and heater are TURNED OFF. After adjusting is completed, wait about 5mins and then turn on the unit to ENSURE the processing completed. WIFI setup and registering process are optional and may review. the Setting includes screensleep(backlight), forced air, and 5-7wires selections. the selection to 0or1 on the backlight finds to better (as similar to previous models of Honeywell). the setting should be adjusted while fans, a/c, and heater are TURNED OFF.
